African glass Trade Beads

African glass Trade Beads

A big bag of glass beads in every shape and color you can imagine! Are they African? Are they Trade Beads?? All I can tell you is that's what the gentleman called them when I bought them from him in Tucson at one of the huge bead shows.  In the bead store we found these beads incredibly useful because we could always find something to inspire us or to finish off a current project. In the center of the bead store was a free-standing waist-high big square bin that was filled with these beads--we called it Treasure Island. We culled out any undesirables (although one or two may have missed our scrutiny...) and packaged them for you. Enjoy!

  • a bit about Shipping...

It's an expense nobody likes to pay. And I won't be a hypocrite and raise prices on merch and say "Free Shipping!", because it's not. I'd gladly show up at your front door and hand you your order but that's not practical. It's a necessary expense, and we need to charge it. We are always looking for new ways to save on shipping, so please stay tuned. In the meantime, if the Shipping Rates we must charge are significantly higher than what the actual shipping cost, we're going to make it up to you with free items in your order. It's the least we can do...

  • This is a Final Sale

We had a thriving bead store in New England before retiring to northeast Tennessee, and instead of having a "Going Out of Business Sale" we brought the entire inventory with us. The beads and findings we offer are not seconds, but are the high-quality items from around the world that we carefuly chose for our store.  Specializing in the fiber arts now, it's time to offer these treasures for sale, and we do so at a very low price. All sales of Beads and Findings are final, no returns.
